Tri-M Students Volunteer at Arts Council Breakfast

Conscientious students from the high school’s Tri-M Music Honor Society recently volunteered at a breakfast fundraiser at a local Applebee’s, hosted by the Deer Park Arts Council and enjoyed by more than 100 attendees.

“All the Tri-M students had an important role, whether serving, cleaning up, or greeting and seating our breakfast guests,” explained Arts Council representative Grace Heyne. “They worked hard and were very respectful to the patrons and to each other.”

The Deer Park Arts Council holds annual fundraisers to provide senior scholarships to the high school’s music and fine arts students. The organization also assists the district’s music, art and theater departments by providing financial support to purchase materials and equipment and present school events, theater productions, trips, and educational opportunities.
