The district will hold its third Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, Nov. 1, in conjunction with the annual Halloween Carnival. The events will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the high school, 1 Falcon Place in Deer Park.

The Health Fair, sponsored by the district’s health and physical education department, is free to the public and will include numerous health-related activities and more than 40 informational booths. Services and activities available for attending community members will include athletic and personal weight training; a mobile blood drive; CrossFit; dental and orthodontic care; fire safety and CPR; healthy eating demonstrations; health screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, body mass index, posture, vision and hearing; impairment driving simulations; martial arts and kickboxing; Pilates and yoga; pool safety and water exercises; reiki; sports clinics including golf, soccer and tennis; and Zumba.

Admission to the Halloween Carnival, presented by the high school’s Varsity Leaders Club and held in the girls gym, will be $2.

A Chinese auction will also be sponsored by the high school’s clubs.
