For an entire week, sixth- through eighth-graders at Robert Frost brought in numerous canned and boxed food items to donate for needy families, as part of an annual November food drive organized by the school’s National Junior Honor Society. After collecting the nonperishables, members of the NJHS worked with adviser Seth Margolin to collate the items into baskets ready for donation.
“This food drive helped our students realize that there is a great need to help others in the community,” said NJHS Secretary Ally Doogan. “It was great to see so much support for the cause, and now many families will be able to have a happy Thanksgiving.”
