Displaying a strong commitment to the Deer Park school community, 7-Eleven recently donated $711 to the Deer Park High School Booster Club to help fund the athletic program, as part of the company’s Project A-Game matching donation grant program. Created to promote youth wellbeing and establish a strong foundation for the next generation, 7-Eleven stores can apply for a Project A-Game grant to sponsor a local school and support youth development through academic and athletic programs.
Three 7-Eleven representatives – business consultant Nancy Rehill from the parent company and local franchisees Sonney Ahluwalia and Muddsir Muhmood – recently visited the high school to present a ceremonial check to Athletic Director Dominic Fontana and the school’s varsity basketball team.
“Being local business owners, our goal is to give back to the community through sports,” said Ahluwalia.
