On Dec. 11, the Polar Express departed the high school, loaded with close to 100 pajama-clad Claus believers. Freshmen and seniors at the school worked together to create a winter wonderland of games, treats and letters to Kris Kringle that helped to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Cocoa flowed like water and there was even an appearance by Santa himself, as well as arts and crafts and a viewing of the film “The Polar Express.”
“Our thanks to all of the students, parents and community members that participated,” said teacher Beth Kabaservice.
