Number-crunching students at John Quincy Adams helped raise more than $8,900 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as part of the school’s fifth annual Math-A-Thon program.

The students completed Math-A-Thon Funbooks by solving math problems. Sponsors made donations based on how many problems and pages the students completed, or offered contributions of any amount they chose. 

The Math-A-Thon problems help the students become better at math, and the cause is a worthy one. Over the past five years, JQA has raised over $32,800 in total for St. Jude.
