The annual French Dinner continues to be a Deer Park tradition and highlight for students in the district’s French language program from grades 6-12. Participating students and their families prepared and tasted dishes from Francophone areas around the world.

This year’s dinner, held on April 29 at the Robert Frost cafeteria, was organized by teachers Kimberly Lecamus and Kari Schiano. Also in attendance was Nancy Wolman, a retired French teacher and president of the American Association of Teachers of French LI, who was recognized for organizing Deer Park’s first French Dinner more than 15 years ago.
