“Both the boys and girls track teams made Deer Park proud today, not only in the way they peformed, but also in the way they represented themselves as the host program,” said Tom Brouillard, boys track and field coach. “Many Deer Park runners had season-best performances. This was complimented by some of the best competition in the state, as we saw with Daniel Claxton of Smithtown East in the high jump, for example. I am confident my girls team counterpart Jim Petti would agree that this was the most successful installment of our invitational yet.”
