The district received approval from the State Education Department to
begin Phase I projects during the summer months. The turf project has
begun at the high school, with sod being ripped up in preparation for
the new field. Also underway at the high school is the replacement of
seating in the choral room. Roof projects at May Moore and JQA will
begin this week, along with locker replacements at Robert Frost Middle
School. The library enhancement at John F. Kennedy Intermediate School
is slated to begin within the week.
“We are very excited for these
projects and are looking forward to seeing the transformations take
place,” said Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations
Marguerite Jimenez. “The students will benefit greatly from these
enhancements.”
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we
complete these projects. We will update you during the summer months,
so please check back often.
