Patriotic students at JQA, May Moore and JFK, clad in red, white and blue, honored the memory of the 9/11 attacks with flag-planting ceremonies on Sept. 9. During the now-traditional Patriot Day activity for the schools, individual classes took turns planting American flags in the front of each building in an effort to remember those who sacrificed their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

“We will never forget the events of that tragic day and our thoughts and prayers are with those who may have been affected,” said JQA’s new principal, Christopher Molinelli.
