Students at John Quincy Adams participated in a schoolwide election on Nov. 9 to choose their favorite book character for president, coordinated by math lab teacher Debbie Bradbury.

The students were read two selections, “Grace for President” and “Max for President,” then cast their votes in the JQA gymnasium by using laptop computers. The election results, in which the students chose Grace as their favorite character and book, were then graphed and displayed in the lobby for all to see.

“This election experience was both exciting and educational for the students at John Quincy Adams, and will be remembered for years to come,” said Bradbury.
