JFK’s Luppy Sisters Appointed Babylon Junior Beautification Ambassadors

Sisters Arianna Luppy and Giovanna Luppy, both students at JFK, were recently selected by Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer to be appointed as Junior Beautification Ambassadors for their leadership skills and dedication to the betterment of the community. Arianna and Giovanna attended an induction ceremony on May 14 at the Argyle Theatre in Babylon Village, where they were presented with certificates of appreciation.

The Beautification Program was designed to help educate the community about the importance of keeping Babylon clean and beautiful. The appointed Junior Beautification Ambassadors assist with program initiatives while gaining an understanding of issues impacting the town’s neighborhoods, sharing acquired knowledge with their peers and helping to organize interactive volunteer events.

“We honor Giovanna and Arianna for their volunteerism and stewardship, which has greatly contributed to the success of the Town of Babylon Beautification Program,” said Schaffer.
