Pride Fills Hearts at JQA’s Second-Grade Moving Up

It was apt that the first song to be sung at the second-grade moving up ceremony at JQA was “To Make You Proud,” for the assembled parents, friends, teachers, and school and district administrators had nothing but pride in their hearts as they celebrated an educational milestone with the children.

Quoting Linda Kranz, Principal Chris Molinelli told his students, “There's only one you in this great big world – make it a better place,” before they marched out of JQA’s doors on June 12 and into a bright future at JFK.

“Saying goodbye to a great group of students like this year’s second-graders is always met with a range of emotions,” said Molinelli. “We will certainly miss every student and wish them the best of luck in their future.
