John Quincy Adams and May Moore elementary schools participated in an artistic seasonal activity. Local nursery Hewlynn Home and Garden Center donated pumpkins to every first-grade class that came together to craft unique works of art. Students painted, glued and sculpted pumpkins into diverse characters and scenes and presented their creations to the school so that their peers could vote for their favorite. All of the pumpkins will be displayed at the nursery located at 1971 Deer Park Ave. during the month of October.
