Wrestler Scaffidi Earns First Tournament Title
High school wrestler TJ Scaffidi, at 182 pounds, went 3-0, all by pin, at the Lindenhurst Invitational Tournament on Jan. 5, winning his first ever tournament title.

Scaffidi also won two matches in Deer Park’s dual meets against Comsewogue and Huntington in January, both by pin. His pin against Huntington helped the Falcons come from behind and earn a 45-37 victory, their first against Huntington since the 1960s.
