Frost Students Win Second and Third at LISEF
Frost students Michelle Antonio and Sophia Zorakhsh recently competed in the LISEF –SSP Broadcom MASTERS Fair, sponsored by the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair, Society for Science & the Public, and Broadcom. At the LISEF event, held in March at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, Antonio finished in second place for her “The Dirtiest Surface in a School” project, while Zorahksh won third for her “Dissolving Rates of Ibuprofen in Different pH” project.

“I felt proud because people work hard for what they do,” said Antonio.

Both students were recognized at the Board of Education’s April 30 business meeting.
