DPHS Celebrates 14 Senior Athlete Signings

The high school recognized 14 senior athletes who signed national letters of intent to continue their outstanding sports careers in college this fall: Giselle Aparicio (track; Queens College), Isabella Aparicio (track; Adelphi University), Anthony Bendici (football; Wilkes University), Katherine Buquicchio (soccer; SUNY New Paltz), Alexarae Clark (track; Southern New Hampshire University), Heather Dillon (cross-country; SUNY Old Westbury), Anthony Fasano (football; Utica College); Jacqueline Gentile (lacrosse; Manhattanville College), Juliana Knice (basketball; St. Joseph’s College), Joseph Leon (soccer; Molloy College); Warren Millien (track; Adelphi University), Kristina Pali (tennis; SUNY Cortland); Michaela Rapisarda (soccer; St. Thomas Aquinas College) and Bella Vene (soccer; Buffalo State University).

Joined in the May 2 celebration by visiting friends and family members, the students were congratulated in the auditorium by Principal Charles Cobb and Athletic Director Dominick Fontana.
