Frost’s French Dinner Proves an Important Night for Language Students

In celebration of French culture and language, Robert Frost hosted its 19th annual French Dinner on May 2. This year’s theme, chosen by the students themselves, was “Beauty and the Beast.”

The dinner was planned by Frost’s middle school students and their teachers, Susan Bollag and Kimberly Gallipoli. French students from Deer Park High School also attended to help set up the event. In addition to serving delicious French cuisine, students performed music, played games and asked French trivia questions.

“This event become such an important night in our French students’ culture,” said Ashley Rosenberg, Deer Park’s district administrator for ENL and world languages.
