The English Language Arts Department at Deer Park is committed to inspiring brilliant minds to become creative thinkers and writers. Our students are aware of the conversation present in literature. Our students' passion and appreciation for the written text drive their thirst for knowledge.  Our focus is to ensure our students leave Deer Park High School with an adoration for the art of reading and writing.  Our course offerings enable each student to find his/her own voice.
