John F. Kennedy Intermediate School marked the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, with a memorial ceremony on Sept. 11. Students shared poems inspired by the events of 9/11, thanked first responders in attendance for their continued service and protection, and walked the track in support of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

“Spread that kindness today, boys and girls,” Principal Kellson said. “We challenge you to do an act of kindness for somebody, not just today but every day.”
