Junior Kylie Kuhn was recently honored as Deer Park High School’s Student of the Month for May.

“Kylie is a spectacular student who takes her academics seriously and always has a good time learning in class,” said Kristen Salemi, who was Kuhn’s Algebra 2 Honors teacher last year. “Her work ethic is unmatched and she is looked to as a leader not only in class but in the sports world as well. She is a member of the girls varsity basketball and lacrosse teams. Kylie is the ultimate well-rounded student who deserves recognition. She is a positive energy who lights up the room.”
