Rain didn’t deter Deer Park’s students and staff from enjoying a terrific first day of classes on Sept. 1. From the high school and middle school, to JFK, JQA and May Moore, all were ready to reconnect and learn.

“We were beyond excited to welcome our students back for another year at May Moore,” said Principal Tammy Alcalde. “We opened our doors and students entered smiling, waving and high-fiving our Ladybug mascot who greeted our students as they entered the building. We’re looking forward to seeing how our students are ‘Spotted Being Moore’ this year!”

“The rain couldn’t stop our smiling faces as we welcomed our students back to JQA,” said Principal Christopher Molinelli. “We had a wonderful first day and are looking forward to an awesome year.”
