Advanced Levels

 Group Youth Learn to Swim Advanced levels are for school aged swimmers up to age 13 who demonstrate appropriate swim skills verified by previous participation in swim lessons or an assessment during public swim hours prior to enrollment deadlines for any seasonal session. These classes swim the length of the pool (25M) and require increasing competency in front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly stroke, starts & turns. Diving is an optional component. 

School aged swimmers verified to be eligible for Advanced levels can also enroll in Youth Fitness Swim through their senior year of high school. Older beginner / intermediate swimmers may be recommended to enroll in Teen /Adult Swim Instruction (TASI) for appropriate instruction. 

To have your child's skill level assessed prior to enrolling, please ask for an evaluation at public swim hours. Once classes start, if a child is found to be enrolled in a class that is potentially unsafe or not an appropriate challenge, changes will be made. Every effort will be made to properly accommodate that child by switching class, but withdrawal will be recommended for safety if accommodations cannot be made. 

Advanced levels Flamingos, Osprey, Seahawks, Falcons 

 8:30-9:00 AM Saturdays September 20th-November 8th NOT October 11th and 18th 

Registration Fees: Deer Park Residents: $40  / Non-Residents: $80 per student

 

1. Email one enrollment request for THIS swimmer AND any other swimmers from your immediate household who wish to enroll in Fall 2025 Programs between September 8th - September 12th.

  • Participant's Name, age and date of birth
  • The mailing address for this family
  • Class desired. If more than one time is offered please indicate first and second choice of time. 

2. You will receive confirmation by email reply with an attached fact sheet including any current guidelines. DO NOT attend without confirmation.

3.  Registration forms (for your family) are to be verified and signed with payments collected  at the FIRST DAY of this class
