Facilities & Grounds Committee

To maintain and improve the quality of our infrastructure to promote a greater learning environment for our constituents. This committee meets to determine where our available capital funds can best be utilized. We examine all of our buildings and the grounds that encompass them. We forecast our project needs and we get the projects off the waiting lists and into the hands of the contractors that physically do the work. Updates are provided from our maintenance foreman and from our assistant superintendent for business. Our underlying goal is our mission statement, "To maintain and improve the quality of our infrastructure to promote a greater learning environment for our constituents."
Wellness Committee (not to be confused with the Health & Safety Committee)

Our main objective is to support our school district in its safety & health needs while maintaining strict adherence to all Federal, State and Local Rules, Regulations and Standards.
Our committee consists of teachers, administrators, safety professionals and community members whose role is to assist staff in highlighting and addressing safety and health improvements districtwide. All concerns, suggestions and/or ideas shall be brought to the attention of the Board of Education and Superintendent of Schools for their review.

The Culture, Belonging, and Respect Committee is composed of Board members, administrators, teachers, and members of the greater Deer Park community. Our mission is to embrace multiculturalism and foster appreciation for the many differences that strengthen and unite us as a community. We are an inclusive group committed to reflecting the ideas, values, and voices of all community members—regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, nationality, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or age.

The Instructional Technology Committee is dedicated to enhancing and supporting the integration of technology in educational settings. Our mission is to ensure that all technological resources and tools used within our schools effectively support and improve student learning outcomes, facilitate innovative teaching practices, and streamline administrative processes.
