The May Moore Primary School Music Club presented a production of “Wonka Kids” on April 10, directed by music teacher Kristen Lombardo and assisted by volunteers Rose Torraca, Alexus Tyson and Murielle Villafana. The 40 second graders in the Music Club began rehearsals in January, practicing twice a week for an hour each time. Their dedication paid off with a terrific performance that wowed the families in attendance.

“These students are only in second grade and worked so hard at putting on their first play,” Lombardo said “It’s amazing what kids can do when you set the bar for them. They memorized so many lines and songs, and danced with their hearts on that stage. I am so incredibly proud of them.”
