John F. Kennedy Intermediate School recently hosted its annual ENL Culture Night, providing students and their families with several fun activity stations to explore such as chess and winter-themed crafts. The event serves as a joyful celebration of the many cultures that make up JFK’s school community, bringing families together to honor their differences and the unique strengths they all share.
This year, the school’s English as a New Language teachers added a meaningful new element by sponsoring a clothing drive, ensuring that families in need could select winter coats, gloves, and hats.
“This thoughtful addition reflected the care and compassion that defines our school,” Principal Kelly Benson said. “Our ENL teachers did an outstanding job creating a welcoming, inclusive event that celebrated our cultures and strengthened our school community. This night truly highlighted the incredible sense of community within our school.”
