Eight Deer Park High School elementary school students were recently selected for the 25th annual Colors of Long Island student art exhibit, on display from Feb. 8 through April 7 at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook.

This year’s chosen students are Deer Park High School students Paige Bailey and Daniella Deckler, John F. Kennedy Intermediate School fifth graders Nicholas Goldstein and Yulianna Heredia, John Quincy Adams Primary School first grader Jordan Wahlig and second grader Annemarie Hernandez, and May Moore Primary School second graders Melanie Carroll-Moreno and Archer Perdios.

“We are so proud of their hard work,” JFK art teacher Briana Fayans said. “It is such a wonderful opportunity for our students to see their artwork on display in a museum along with other students from our community on Long Island.”
