Deer Park’s teachers showed their support, spirit, and dedication during October by wearing pink on Wednesdays for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Primary school teachers Lynn Hadity, Annemarie Kennedy, Christine Michels and Debbie Sciacca, and Robert Frost Middle School teaching assistant Christine Lacascia also participated in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Jones Beach on Oct. 19.
